Next week, from 22 to 26 July, Munich will host the International AIDS 2024 conference. This biennial global gathering brings together leading scientists, NGOs, key community representatives, international organizations and many others to discuss pressing issues in the fight against the epidemic. The focus of this year’s conference is Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

We are pleased to introduce you to one of the conference participants working in the EECA region, the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG). EATG is a patient-led organization that advocates for the rights and interests of people living with or affected by HIV and related co-infections within the WHO Europe region.
EATG members will be presenting their local and regional work in various sessions, symposia, side-events of AIDS 2024, as well as at the Global Village.
EATG will be hosting a booth at the Global Village – NGO booth CS08, as well as conducting activities in partnership with other organizations at The Silver Zone: A Networking Zone for Older People Living with HIV and the 5-5-5 – We Won’t Be Left Behind Zone.
They are also organizing a session on the inclusion of people living with HIV in non-HIV clinical trials in the framework of the Living 2024 pre-conference.
