Charitable foundation Social Equation Hub (SEH) invites to the upcoming satellite session, “Harnessing Web3 and Blockchain Technologies: Novel Opportunities to Transform HIV Response Measures,” at the AIDS 2024 conference. This event will delve into how blockchain and cryptocurrency can revolutionize the fight against global diseases.
The session will take place on 22 July, at 7:30, at Messe München, Hall B0b / Channel 5 and will feature leading experts who will discuss:
- Overcoming challenges and barriers faced by communities globally, such as funding gaps, bureaucratic hurdles, donor withdrawal, and legislative limitations.
- Revolutionizing funding for social impact through Web3 by democratizing finance and enhancing transparency.
- Blockchain solutions for healthcare, including data privacy, tokenized health service delivery, and auditable fundraising platforms.
- The role of community-driven governance and decentralized science in fostering open access to data and integrity in research.
